The Los Túneles Tour is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences on Isabela Island. This adventure takes you to a unique volcanic landscape formed by lava flows that created natural arches, tunnels, and crystal-clear pools—perfect for snorkeling and wildlife watching.
The tour begins with a 45–50 minute boat ride along Isabela’s southern coast, where you may spot manta rays, sea turtles, blue-footed boobies, penguins, and sometimes dolphins along the way.
Once you arrive at Los Túneles, the boat navigates through calm, shallow waters surrounded by stunning lava formations. You’ll take a short walk on top of the tunnels to observe marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies nesting, and amazing volcanic scenery.
After the land visit, you’ll enjoy an incredible snorkeling session in some of the clearest waters of the Galápagos. This site is famous for encounters with:
